Joan Crawford - The Flapper: 22nd July 1928: Film star Joan Crawford (1904 - 1977) in a short sleeveless dress with leopard print trim. Photo by Clarence Sinclair Bull, a portrait photographer who worked for movie studios during the Golden Age of Hollywood. He was head of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer stills department for nearly forty years.
