Travel back in time with me to this Paris street scene in 1954. Montmartre, known for its artists and one of the most historic and interesting neighborhoods in Paris. At the end of the street, a windmill, or Moulin.
Notice the near-empty street. There were two billion less people in the world back then, and it was only a few years since the end of WWII.
