Olive Brady - Ziegfeld Girl: In The Great Ziegfeld (1936), a biographical film about the life and career of Florenz Ziegfeld Jr. Olive Brady played herself as one of the Ziegfeld girls, and appeared in the lavish production number “A Pretty Girl Is Like a Melody”.
Running between 1907 and 1931, the Ziegfeld Follies were elaborate stage revues mounted by the great Broadway showman Florenz Ziegfeld, inspired by the Folies Bergères of Paris.
