Los Angeles, California
Chuck Staley was born in Memphis, studied broadcasting at Georgia Tech, art and design at the Memphis Academy of Art and -- after a successful 35-year career as a Television Director in Los Angeles -- currently works in his Southern California studio, shaping and refining each of his meticulously handcrafted Art Deco Designs and Geometric Abstracts.
Chuck says, "Art Deco was in vogue when I was growing up right after the Roaring Twenties, now I want to revive the art form and add new designs just in time for the upcoming Soaring Twenties!”
I have been in the Arts and Entertainment business my entire adult life, starting with television broadcasting. During that time I opened a shop on the side, designing Mediterranean-style hand carved furniture, then antiques came after that. Now I'm concentrating on creating artwork for interior designers and decorators. My latest work centers around the Art Deco movement, believing that the art form will make a huge splash as the next Roaring 20s draw near. I hope we get to work together on many, many projects.
Sometimes it's nearly impossible to find that right piece of art, and if you do find it, it could be the wrong size. I have over 500 choices of art here on my website; many of them started as photographs I took years ago, as well as new pieces that I may have completed yesterday. Take a look at the dramatic work I offer, and if you need it cropped or resized, just let me know. I'm here to please.
All prints and gallery wraps ship within three business days from our production facility in North Carolina, and now we are printing in the UK and six other countries as well. This means lower shipping costs and no duty, so that is a good thing!
