Art Deco Designs is the brainchild of LA artist Chuck Staley.

Chuck, who was born in Memphis, TN, studied broadcasting at Georgia Tech, art and design at the Memphis Academy of Art, and… after a successful 35-year career as a Television Director in Hollywood... currently works in his Southern California studio, shaping and refining each of his meticulously handcrafted Art Deco Designs and Modern Abstracts.

Chuck says, 'Art Deco was in vogue during the Roaring 20s, now I want to revive the art form and add new designs just in time for the upcoming Soaring 20s, so if you love Gatsby, Flappers, Art Deco, and All That Jazz, you’ll want to come aboard and see what's next. We have fun!”

If you're one of those art lovers who wants to know more about the artist, see the 'All About Me' collection. And remember, all purchases have a 30-day return policy.

When I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is give a quick “thank you” to the universe for allowing me one more day on Schoolhouse Earth to learn something new, and then I turn my mind to my art: What shall I create today? For many decades I have been creating art, starting with photography, then television, then testing my writing skills, and now creating digital artwork.

When I hit my 80th birthday, I decided it was time to try something new career-wise, so I dug up my 35mm slides from the 50s, bought a scanner and printer and made a bunch of prints. Those got me into showings at galleries and that was fun for awhile. But when I hit my 85th birthday a couple of years ago, I wanted to try something new. Something fresh that no one else was doing, so I decided to revive the artwork I grew up with as a child and have always been fond of: Art Deco.

As I look around the Los Angeles area, all I see is growth. High-rise condominiums are springing up all over Southern California. And those condos need art. That’s where I come in: I want to fill those apartment and condo walls with colorful, beautiful, original art that one will find no place else but here. So come on in… let me show you around. You don’t know what you may find!
